At MHT flat roofing we are approved contractors of the “Alwitra Evalon” single ply system. Alwitra Evalon consists of a fleeceback grey “evalon” membrane that is adhered down and heat welded together creating a lifelong watertight seal. We give a 20 year guarantee on these roofs. Although these systems are not the cheapest they are the top range of flat roofing materials and are usually the choice of Architects and commercial buildings. They also need a certified installer ticket to be purchased. These systems can also have standing seems welded on to give for a fancier design or to mimic a zinc roof at a fraction of the cost.
Single ply roofing has made a huge advancement over the last 40 years with many times of single ply membranes about. These can be adhered down or mechanically fixed. To termite at the roofs edges the membranes are welded onto Metal powder coated edge trims to give a very attractive contemporary look. They are completely maintenance free as they do not retain dirt or deteriorate in any way.
